Cookie policy
Last updated: 27 October 2026
In short: automaite.ro uses analytics cookies (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity) only if you agree, to see anonymously how the site is used. Without your consent these tools do not load at all.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work; others are used for analytics or advertising and need your consent.
The categories we use
- Strictly necessary (always on): your cookie choice is kept in your browser's local storage (the automaite-consent key) so we do not ask on every visit. These need no consent and cannot be turned off.
- Analytics (only with your consent, off by default): Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity. We use them for anonymous usage statistics: which pages are visited, where visitors come from, how people navigate and where problems occur, so we can improve the site.
- Functional (only when you start the demo chat): on the Platforms page you can start a demo virtual assistant that runs on Voiceflow (Voiceflow Inc.), a third-party chat service. The Voiceflow script loads only after you press the button to start the chat and may use browser storage (local storage or cookies) to keep the conversation and run the chat. Until then nothing loads from Voiceflow.
- Advertising or marketing: we do not use any.
The analytics cookies
- Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited): _ga and _ga_<ID>, kept for up to 2 years, to tell visitors and sessions apart. We use Google Consent Mode v2: all consent types are denied by default and only analytics storage is granted, after you accept.
- Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited): _clck, kept for up to 1 year, and _clsk, kept for 1 day, to link the pages viewed in one session. Clarity may also set cookies on its own domains (for example clarity.ms).
These tools do not load and send no request until you press Accept or turn on the Analytics category in your preferences.
Paying through Stripe
When you start a Shield payment or open the subscription portal, you are sent to Stripe's pages (checkout.stripe.com and billing.stripe.com). There Stripe may use its own cookies, needed for payment and fraud prevention, under Stripe's policy. Those cookies are not set on our domain.
How to change or withdraw consent
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page. If you withdraw it, we stop the analytics tools and delete their cookies from our domain. You can also view and delete cookies in your browser settings.
